But he’s taking his game to another level during the NBA Finals 2016.
When the Cleveland Cavaliers were down 3-1 to the Golden State Warriors with an elimination Game 5 at Oracle Arena looming.
King James responded.
James’ Game 5 stats: 41 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Cleveland wins 112-97 to narrow the series gap to 3-2.
A few days later the series shifted back to Cleveland for another elimination game.
James’ Game 6 stats: 41 points, 11 assists, 8 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 blocks. Cavaliers win 115-101 to tie the series at 3 games apiece.
Also, after turning the ball over 23 times over the first 4 games, James had just 3 turnovers combined over the past two victories.
That brings us to Game 7. Winner take all.
And LeBron was at his best once again as the Cavaliers won their first NBA title in franchise history.
James recorded a triple-double with 27 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists and came up with some stellar defensive, including a key block late in the game.
Through the first six games of the NBA Finals, James is averaging 30.2 points, 11.3 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 2.7 steals, 2.2 blocked shots and 4.3 turnovers per contest.
